experiências estrangeiras

[métrica japonesa, idioma inglês, tentativas iniciais]

English Haiku

the void voice of rain

whispers to the street beggar

a song of regret

moss on the full moon:

toads mistake it for a stone

in the mating pond

spring breeze is serving

the lazy caterpillars

green sprouts for breakfast

grains of sand in sight:

the wind keeps me from looking

at my lover’s eyes

my mother told me

my verse was right as a plum:

sweet little white lie

bright red tomato

falls down on the kitchen floor:

salad’s on the house

time of autumn leaves:

every poet’s fallen words

get swept away too

“later” - I was told

“now or never” - I replied

silence still resounds
